The man was traveling northbound on Rt. 100 and Blackhorse Road around 11:05 a.m., when he crossed into the southbound lanes, where he was struck by another vehicle carrying a 69-year-old woman and a 13-year-old child, local police said.
The unidentified man died at the scene, while the driver and passenger in the second car were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, police said.
Police believe speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
The road was closed as crews investigated the scene. It was reopened just before 2 p.m.
